Ridin for a Reason

We all ride for different reasons.   Some like the feel of the wind on our face,  some like the freedom that comes with traveling on the open road, some are empowered by something they can control.

But, there is no better reason to ride than that of benefitting others.

Open Road Girl is proud to be part of the Vette City Motorcycle Music Fest in Bowling Green, Kentucky on September 12th-15th, 2019.   We even have our own All Women’s Ride on Sunday.

Ridin for a Reason is all about celebrating the riding sisterhood while helping abused children.  100% of donations will benefit The Barren River Child Advocacy Center.  It is the mission of the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center to reduce trauma to child abuse victims by providing a safe, child-friendly location where teams of professionals work together to pursue justice and offer treatment.

The kickoff party starts Thursday night, September 12th at Harley-Davidson in Bowling Green. The headliners for the overall event are Jackyl, Puddle of Mudd and Colt Ford. This four day music fest features 24 bands, 50 merchandise vendors, food vendors, on-site RV and tent camping, a custom bike show, plus the Open Road Girl All Womens Ride on Sunday.  Be a part of the largest all women’s ride in Kentucky!

Open Road Girl apparel and gear will be available during the event.  Stop by and shop in our portable store and learn about our new Ambassador Program.
